Injustice and Deceit

     I have every reason to believe that if I witness someone being awful to another person, they are likely capable of treating me the same way. Whether it's a judgment, an opinion, or a fact, one good deed doesn't make up for a string of wrongs. I've personally experienced this when people I considered friends mistreated others, and I naively thought I was an exception. If you surround yourself with such people, you are either setting yourself up to be a victim or you might be justifying mistreating others yourself. I refuse to be part of a life where people mistreat others and manipulate for their own gain. That's where I draw the line. 12/1/14
