How To BlogSpot Help

I have been using Blogger by Google for over 10 years before it switched from +google.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm a visual learner. If the instructions lack visual prompts, I tend to get lost. I'm not a fan of Google's help layout because it sends you in so many directions and by the time you dive deep into it, you have too many tabs open and maybe lost your place and confused. This frustrates me being a visual learner because the information is too scattered and not enough examples and answers in an isolated location. When the answers don't match up to your original question that brought you there to begin with, you feel like you wasted your time.

I came across a question on blogger about drop-down menus, and I wanted to provide some visual aids for those that may need it for an optional setup.

I have a responsive website and you will start by going into the side menu under (Layout.)

My layout is customized with CSS, but it’s a template like all the rest. You can use it for your own and customize it to your needs. I hope it can show you the possibilities or give you creative ideas that you might want to implement on your own site.

Here is a visual example of my drop-down menu in Blogger. I started by adding a Link List Gadget with Labels

With each entry that you enter under your category, you will place a - right before the Category. These are linked to the main #Labels on my website. These Labels can be placed in your blog posts and on the side menu. Here is a visual example below of the labels on my website linked to the drop-down menu in blogger:

Yes, I do have a customized responsive theme. The point of the post is to show people that they can use the widget to link to labels. I can add the css or provide the information if someone doesn't want to use the "theme" I'm using. Thanks for pointing out my typo on the Google+.. I corrected it!
