Leaves Raise to the Rain

I imagine my eyes lift to where you've been waiting
The way the leaves raise to the rain
I dropped every anchor
So hate me and you can let me out
Barefoot as it came pouring in
The moon peeking through the storm at me.
You do what you need to be free
And it leads me like a train without rails
What I learned from you
Is my need to be whole
But my freedom was sold
Years of damning my soul
They say be true and don't fake our thoughts
We pretend to see only as a blind man knows
What I want from this
Is how to let go
No not of you
but this Hell I can't fix
where nothing in you
trusts in me
I lost you
for rootless trees
What dreams may come
fail to be
I've yet to become my destiny
I'm a fool that only trusts in me.
I repent to find you never forsake me.

Father, forgive me?
