the beauty of life
Extends its hues to remind me
A yearning to feel what depletes me
Facing sadness I do not fear
Missing your face
Like wings that can no longer soar
Knowing you exist
Encompasses my heart 
to know your hand 
extends the mercy of the shore.
Your memory that hazes me
to hush my breath and pause my heart
And release your name in a trembling tear.
To learn when the unloved love
A peaceful love once found happiness here
A soul that longs through closed window panes
